Everywhere Beer Opening SE Portland Taproom

The inclusive & community focused Orange, California brewery, everywhere beer, has announced that their highly anticipated Portland taproom will officially open it’s doors to the public on Friday, May 16.

Moving into the space previously occupied by Chuckanut Brewery, the freshly remodeled taproom at 920 SE Caruthers in Southeast Portland will feature a vast array of their award-winning beers served over their newly constructed bar.

“The new taproom in Portland will feature 22 taps including a dedicated handle for Kölsch, two Lukr side-pull faucets for perfectly poured lagers, a rotating mix of fresh clear beer – think west coast India Pale Ales and crisp lagers, alongside some of our sillier favorites like super-fruited seltzers, slusheeeeeees, and barrel-aged stouts,” according to everywhere’s co-founder and head of marketing Daniel Muñoz.

For the first time they’ll also be also expanding their tap program to include curated wine and cider selections, which are “not their own, but thoughtfully chosen,” adds Muñoz. In addition to providing a more open and communal feeling space, the location will also offer expanded hours as they plan on being open from 11am to 10pm, seven days a week.

Situated two blocks west of neighborhood taproom & bottle shop stalwarts The BeerMongers and two blocks south of Baerlic Brewing’s original Southeast taproom (along with Ranch Pizza), the revitalized space will offer a confluence of vibes influenced by both their original location and local artisans.

“The space itself is a love letter to Portland,” admits Muñoz, “with a few nods to our Orange County roots.” The taproom will feature tables handcrafted by Stumptown Reclaimed, a custom Oregon maple wood bar top with USB chargers and purse hooks, hand-painted signage by Thank You Lettering, murals and artwork by their friend Priscilla Moreno, and a mix of cozy seating and community tables to make it feel like your third place.

Opening their original Orange location in August of 2022, everywhere was co-founded by four close friends and former employees at The Bruery: Jeremy Grinkey, Daniel Muñoz, Keith Pumilia, and Stefan Weber. Three of the four are experienced production brewers and managers, each bringing a wealth of knowledge to this successful endeavor, providing the brewery a balanced approach to their business.

With this time-tested crew at the helm, everywhere has grown quickly and has already notched a wide variety of awards. In fact, just last week at the World Beer Cup they brought home gold in the most competitively judged category of Juicy or Hazy IPA and last Fall won Small Brewery and Brewer of the Year (1,001–2,000 Barrels) at the 2024 Great American Beer Festival.

They also have another location in the works, set to open soon in the 4th Street Corridor or Retro Row neighborhood of Long Beach, California which will occupy the former vintage clothing store called The Hangout.

Muñoz adds that everywhere “can’t wait to welcome folks in soon—we’re aiming for a place that feels like home, whether you’re grabbing a pint solo or rolling deep with friends. Let us know if you’d like more details or an early tour. We’d love to share more.”
